Murder on 69th Street Red Line platform was domestic-related, prosecutors say

CHICAGO — The fatal shooting of a woman on the 69th Street Red Line platform this weekend was part of a domestic altercation that started as an argument and grew increasingly violent, prosecutors said Friday.

Kamari McMillen, 30, and Tiara Lee-Roberts, 28, had been dating for almost a year, but the relationship became on-again, off-again lately, prosecutor Todd Kleist said during Lee-Roberts’ detention hearing.
