$10K reward offered after girl is found beaten, stabbed to death in West Side park

CHICAGO — A $10,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest or indictment of anyone responsible for killing a 16-year-old girl who was found on a West Side playground this week.

A passerby found Kaylah Love’s body near the playground at Horan Park, 3035 West Van Buren, around 4:50 p.m. Monday. The woman told police that she called 911 the day before because she saw a man beating a woman in the same location. She believed Kaylah was the person she saw being attacked.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Kaylah died from multiple injuries she suffered in an attack. She had been beaten and stabbed in the head, officials said…
