CHICAGO — A burglar went on an early-morning spree Wednesday, breaking into a string of businesses stretching from Old Town to Lakeview, according to CPD. As is usually the case with such crimes, restaurants were targeted.
Police said the man forced his way into the businesses by breaking front glass windows or doors. He took money from cash registers and then moved on to the next location.
