Bar-goer slashes Boystown nightclub employee during ID dispute

CHICAGO — An angry bar-goer slashed a Boystown nightclub employee after being denied entry early Friday morning, police said.

The staff at Charlie’s Chicago, 3726 North Broadway, turned the man away because he did not have proper identification, according to CPD. He became aggressive with the staff, who removed him from the bar.

Once outside, the man began swinging a sharp object and struck the club’s manager on the left arm, causing a “minor laceration,” police said…
