Chicago man arrested after large drug bust in Fayette County

RICHMOND, Ky. – A Chicago man is facing multiple charges following a months-long drug trafficking investigation in Fayette County.

According to the Kentucky State Police, on April 24, the AHIDTA Madison County Drug Task Force and the AHIDTA Central Kentucky Interdiction Team executed a search warrant at a home in Fayette County.

Troopers say this search led to the discovery of 2.5 pounds of fentanyl, 1.3 pounds of cocaine, 9.7 pounds of methamphetamine, 20.6 pounds of marijuana, nine dosage units of suspected ecstasy, five handguns, one of which was confirmed stolen, and around $9,000 in cash…
