NORTHLAKE, Ill. (WGN) — A 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly beating his mother to death inside a Chicago suburban home Sunday morning.
Local authorities said just before 10:45 a.m. Sunday, officers were sent to an apartment complex in Northlake, Illinois, for reports of an unconscious woman who was not breathing.
When officers arrived, they said they found the woman — identified as 43-year-old Elizabeth Peralta-Guadalupe — severely beaten with no signs of life. Paramedics later arrived and pronounced Peralta-Guadalupe dead.
