CHICAGO — As school lets out and summer begins, Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is stepping in to support families across the city with the return of its annual free summer meal program, launching Monday, June 30.
The program, which operates at outdoor “grab-and-go” sites, ensures that any child between the ages of 1 and 18 can receive free breakfast and lunch regardless of enrollment status in CPS or any summer programming.
