CHICAGO (WGN) — A woman was taken into custody Friday morning after allegedly stabbing three children, one fatally, and setting fire to a Logan Square home.
Officers were called to the home on the 3600 block of West Palmer Street shortly after 9 a.m. on a report of a person with a knife. Police said a 45-year-old woman used a knife to attack three children in the home: a 4-year-old boy, a 10-year-old boy, and a 13-year-old girl.
All were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. The 4-year-old passed away from a stab to the chest, officials said.
