A decades-old Chicago mall once home to anchors like Montgomery Ward, Sears and Carson’s could soon be demolished as part of a $150 million plan to revamp the site into a massive warehouse complex.
Originally reported by Crain’s Chicago, the proposed plan was laid out by 18th ward Ald. Derrick Curtis in a letter to his constituents this week.
