A man on parole for attempted murder is back in custody after allegedly robbing a Far South Side pizza shop at gunpoint earlier this month, then leading Illinois State Police on a highway pursuit that ended in his arrest.
Tyrone Anderson, 29, was charged with armed robbery after the July 13 holdup at 13201 South Baltimore Avenue, in Hegewisch.
According to prosecutors, Anderson and another man arrived at the restaurant around 9:09 p.m. Anderson walked in wearing a ski mask that partially covered his face, but left his eyes, nose, and hair visible. He initially held money in his hand, but when an 18-year-old employee approached, he put the cash away, pulled out a gun, and demanded all the money, prosecutors said in a detention petition…
