A man with a concealed carry license fired a shot at a suspected car burglar who charged at him during an early morning confrontation in River North, according to Chicago police.
The 30-year-old man was in the 600 block of North Wells around 2:55 a.m. Saturday, when he saw four people rummaging through his vehicle in a nearby alley. As he approached, one of the suspects rushed toward him, prompting the man to draw his firearm and fire a single shot, police said.
The shot apparently missed, and all four burglars fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported…
