Dunkin’ robber had pictures of his CPD wanted poster on his phone: prosecutors

A 19-year-old man charged with two armed robberies at a Dunkin’ store was caught after police allegedly found a copy of his own “wanted person” bulletin on his phone. Reushawn Pittman faces multiple felony charges following his alleged involvement in the robberies that took place in May.

Pittman, who is accused of robbing the Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins at 1700 West 87th Street, was identified through a combination of surveillance footage, photo line-ups, and, crucially, the discovery of his wanted person bulletin on his phone. Police say he had saved the bulletin issued by the Chicago Police Department, which included a photo and video of him, after the robberies took place.
