Oakbrook Center is an open-air shopping mall in Oak Brook, Illinois, located near Route 83 and Interstate 88. It opened in 1962 with Sears, Marshall Field’s, and a Jewel Food Store, offering a plaza-style layout at a time when enclosed malls were becoming common.
