Man attacked by group on CTA Red Line train near Cermak-Chinatown

Chicago police said a 37-year-old man was attacked by a group of five or six people on a CTA Red Line train overnight.

Police said the victim told them he was on the train around 3:47 a.m. Monday when a group of five or six people he didn’t know approached him and started to beat him.

He said they got off the train at the Cermak-Chinatown stop and ran away…
