An early morning dispute ended in gunfire and death in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood on Monday, according to authorities. A male victim, whose age has not been disclosed, was engaged in an argument when the situation escalated, resulting in the suspect drawing a firearm and shooting the victim multiple times, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The incident, which occurred at around 6:50 a.m. in the 7500 block of South Stony Island Avenue, left the community grappling with another instance of violence. The police arrived at the scene following the altercation, and discovered the victim, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
