A 32-year-old man was shot during an armed robbery in a West Ridge alley overnight, police said.
The victim was in the 6100 block of North Kedzie Avenue around 1 a.m. when two men approached and demanded his belongings, according to a Chicago police statement. After taking his property, the offenders opened fire, striking him in the thigh and foot.
