Traffic Stop Leads to 10 Pounds of Meth

The Princeton Police Department has released details of a major drug arrest that happened Wednesday.

Police say Levertes Goodwin of Chicago was stopped by Indiana State Police Troopers on U.S. 41 near Hazleton for speeding. A K9 unit assisted in the stop.

Officers reported smelling raw marijuana from the vehicle. After a free-air sniff by the dog and a subsequent search, troopers found a glass jar with plant material and two large vacuum-sealed bags containing about five pounds each of crystal methamphetamine…
