Chicago Man Charged with Aggravated Battery After Stabbing Two Individuals

A 32-year-old man, identified as Shaquille Rogers, from the 1000 block of N. Lockwood Ave., Chicago, has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated battery following an attack that left two individuals seriously injured. According to Chicago police, the incident involving a 22-year-old female and a 62-year-old male occurred on September 20, 2025. The Chicago Police Department’s official release reports that Rogers has been charged with one felony count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, one felony count of aggravated battery in a public place, and one misdemeanor count of battery causing bodily harm.

The sequence of events, as recounted by police, began to quickly unfold less than 20 minutes before Rogers’s arrest when he was accused of having stabbed the young woman in the 1200 block of S. Spaulding Ave. The situation escalated when, minutes later, a 62-year-old male was reportedly stabbed by Rogers in the 1200 block of S.
