Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating 12-year-old Samiya Washington, who was reported missing from the West Side on Wednesday evening.
Police said Washington was last seen in the Austin neighborhood, near the 4800 block of West Wabansia Avenue. She is described as 6’2” tall, weighing about 250 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair styled in braids pulled into a ponytail.
At the time she went missing, Washington was wearing a dark long-sleeve shirt, light green sweatpants, and white and gray shoes.
Investigators believe she may be in the areas of the 1300 block of North Laramie, the 400 block of North Laramie, or the 700 block of North Sacramento Avenue…
