A 42-year-old man accused of groping two women at a downtown CTA station in June has been ordered detained while awaiting trial, prosecutors said.
Angelo Guerrero is charged with two counts of criminal sexual abuse and two counts of aggravated battery of a transit customer in connection with the June 16 assaults at the Washington-Wabash station, 29 North Wabash.
According to prosecutors, CTA surveillance video captured Guerrero approaching a woman who was waiting on the platform, touching her between the legs, and walking away. Around the same time, another woman at the same station reported that a man had done the same thing to her…
