CHICAGO — Authorities say three people are in custody on Thursday morning after one of them allegedly pointed a gun at a tow truck driver while chasing him on the city’s Southwest Side.
According to police, the incident began around 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday night as the victim, a 28-year-old man working as a tow truck driver, was attempting to tow a vehicle in the 7200 block of South Paulina Street.

Officers said that as the victim was attempting to tow the vehicle, a different dark colored car approached the scene. As the victim began to leave the scene, officers say the dark-colored vehicle then began to chase him.
