BACK OF THE YARDS — Federal immigration agents targeted people at a flea market famous for its tight-knit community of vendors on Thursday, with agents chasing down people as they tried to flee before eventually detaining about 15 — and leaving those who remained visibly shaken.
About 10 a.m. Thursday, more than 20 federal agents arrived at Swap-O-Rama Flea Market, 4100 S. Ashland Ave., in at least four vehicles and detained about 15 people, Ald. Julia Ramirez (12th) told Block Club.
