His ankle monitor linked him to 2 FedEx robberies. Now, it’s prison time.

A man who robbed two FedEx drivers while wearing an ankle monitor for a pending gun case on the Northwest Side has pleaded guilty and received a four-year prison sentence.

Vincent Martin, 23, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated robbery in exchange for the sentence from Judge Adrienne Davis. But he is expected to be released after serving less than half that time.

Prosecutors charged Martin in May with robbing two FedEx drivers earlier in the year and said his electronic monitoring bracelet’s GPS history proved he was responsible…
