A head-on crash on Chicago’s South Side Tuesday afternoon left two people dead and another injured, according to Chicago police.
The collision happened just before 3 p.m. when a sedan driven by a 21-year-old man was traveling west on 87th Street. An SUV, driven by a 73-year-old man with a 76-year-old passenger, attempted to make a left turn onto California Avenue and was struck head-on by the sedan.
Both SUV occupants were transported to Christ Hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet released their identities…
