Teen boy injured in West Side shooting overnight

CHICAGO — A teen boy is recovering in the hospital on Wednesday morning after he was shot by a group of gunmen on the city’s West Side overnight.

Chicago police say the shooting unfolded just after 8:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Maypole Avenue, in Garfield Park.
