Beverly Rolls-Royce Jacked At Gunpoint; Teen Gets 10 Years

A Cook County judge on Tuesday handed a 10-year prison term to a 19-year-old Chicago man for his role in the gunpoint theft of an 83-year-old woman’s Rolls-Royce in Beverly. The June carjacking rattled the victim but left her physically unharmed.

Prosecutors say Trevon Robinson pleaded guilty to a felony count of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm and was given a decade behind bars, as reported by Fox News. Authorities say the theft happened in June 2024 and involved a silver 2017 Rolls-Royce Wraith taken from the woman’s driveway.

Chicago police’s Vehicular Hijacking Task Force traced the dark SUV used in the crime with a license-plate reader and arrested Robinson inside a Foot Locker on South Ashland, according to Patch.
