CHICAGO — Authorities say one person is in custody on Thursday morning after a standoff on the city’s West Side overnight.
According to police, the incident began just before 9 at a residence in the 5000 block of West Augusta, in Austin.
Officers were initially called to the scene on a report of a person with a gun, but had to call in the SWAT team after they arrived and found a male suspect had barricaded himself inside the residence and was possibly armed…
