Antwan Ford, 27, from Ford Heights, faces multiple felony charges after he was identified as the individual who struck and seriously injured a Cook County Fugitive Task Force member, the Chicago Police Department reported. The incident occurred on December 2, during an attempt by the task force to apprehend Ford on the 2500 block of E. 74th St. in the city’s 3rd District.
Following the event, Ford now faces charges, including one felony count of attempted murder with a strong probability of death or injury, one felony count of aggravated battery of a peace officer, and one felony count of leaving the scene of an accident with injury or death. There are also two issuances of warrants from prior incidents.
