An 18-year-old male has been charged with a string of robberies that took place earlier in the year. According to a report from the Chicago Police Department, the male, who was a juvenile at the time of the crimes, is facing four felony counts of robbery. The arrest was made on December 4, in the 800 block of E. 44th St., as reported by Chicago Police News.
Identified in connection with a series of incidents in the 18th District, the juvenile offender committed the robberies throughout June and July. Victims were confronted in the early hours, with the individual targeting the 400 block of N. State St. and moving onto the 400 block of N. Lake Michigan Ave within the span of an hour on July 6.
The dates and locations of the robberies involving the juvenile include the June 16 robbery on the 400 block of N. Wabash Ave involving a 24-year-old male victim, and the June 22 incident on the 600 block of N. Dearborn St with a 26-year-old male victim, as well as the aforementioned July 6 robberies.
