Chicago Man Arrested for Armed Robberies and Kidnapping in Humboldt Park and Little Village Neighborhoods

On December 4, 2025, Marquis Terry, 21, was arrested and charged with several felonies after a series of robberies in Chicago. The charges include aggravated kidnapping, armed robbery, and aggravated battery. These charges relate to four incidents that took place early on November 19, 2025. The Chicago Police Department’s Citywide Robbery Task Force led the investigation.

The first robbery occurred at 2:09 a.m. in the 1700 block of N. Keeler Ave. in Humboldt Park. A 36-year-old man was taken from his vehicle, assaulted, and robbed by several armed individuals. At 2:24 a.m., a 52-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint and struck in the head in the 4100 block of W. 26th St. in Little Village.

A third incident happened at 2:27 a.m. in the 2800 block of S. Komensky, also in Little Village. A 31-year-old man was attacked and robbed. At 2:34 a.m., in the 2700 block of S. St. Louis Ave., a 34-year-old man was kidnapped at gunpoint, driven to several ATMs, and robbed of cash and belongings. He later escaped and contacted police…
