A 48-year-old man was shot during an argument in Rogers Park late Friday night, according to Chicago police.
Officers responded to calls of a person shot in the 1900 block of West Howard Street around 11:25 p.m. The victim and the shooter were already gone when they arrived, but they found a shell casing inside a nearby tavern.
As officers investigated, the victim, a 48-year-old man, walked into St. Francis Hospital in Evanston with a gunshot wound to his face, according to CPD. He told police he had been involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown woman that turned physical.
