South Shore tenants left without heat as dangerous cold grips Chicagoland

CHICAGO (WGN) — Chicagoland is facing dangerously cold temperatures, with wind chills dropping into the double digits. While residents are being urged to stay indoors, tenants at a South Shore apartment complex say they have not been able to escape the cold.

“This is how I’m dressed inside of my apartment. Just like this. It’s so cold in there,” Norris Killingsworth said, showing WGN-TV how bundled up he is.
