Chicago Teen Charged with Felony Burglary and Criminal Trespass to Vehicle

A 16-year-old male juvenile has been arrested and charged with a felony count of burglary and a misdemeanor count of criminal trespass to a vehicle, according to official sources from the Chicago Police Department. In a release published on December 18, 2025, details emerged of the alleged crimes that led to this individual’s apprehension.

The suspect was taken into custody by the Robbery Task Force on the previous day at approximately 12:05 p.m. on the 4100 block of W. 70th St. He is accused to have participated in the theft of personal property from a 50-year-old man’s vehicle, which occurred less than two hours before his arrest in the 4100 block of N. Greenview Ave, based on information from the Chicago Police Department’s report.

Furthermore, the juvenile was reportedly found inside a vehicle that had been reported stolen on the same day, at 10:05 a.m., from the 4000 block of N. Oakley Ave. The prompt action of the Robbery Task Force led to locating the offender and placing him into custody, where he was subsequently charged with the aforementioned crimes.
