CHICAGO, Ill. (WTVO) — A federal grand jury has indicted six alleged members of the Chicago Faceworld street gang accused of murdering rivals, and committing armed robberies and carjackings on the city’s South Side.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the members of the gang engaged in numerous acts of violence, including 13 murders and numerous attempted murders, assaults, armed robberies, and carjackings in Chicago, including shooting at passengers of a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus and at mourners at the funeral of a rival gang member who was killed by Faceworld gang members.
