Cops Rush To Little Village Stabbing Call, Find Man Shot Instead

What started as a 911 call for a stabbing in Little Village turned into a shooting investigation Monday night, after Chicago police arrived in the 2800 block of South Avers and found a man who had been shot instead. Chicago Fire Department crews were already treating a 54-year-old man when officers got there, and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition.

According to FOX 32 Chicago, officers arrived around 10 p.m. and discovered the man had two gunshot wounds, one to the back and another near the ear that grazed his head.
