A 57-year-old man was shot in the parking lot of a Kia dealership in Beverly on Thursday evening, police said. The victim told officers he was looking for a vehicle for a customer when a gunman shot him around 7:40 p.m. outside Evergreen Kia, 9205 South Western Avenue.
Officers found the victim on the ground with a gunshot wound to the neck, CPD said. He was taken to Christ Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
