Protesters carrying signs with messages against U.S. military activity in Venezuela and ongoing ICE operations shut down Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago Saturday.
Several protests were planned for the area Saturday afternoon and a group of protesters marching down Michigan avenue around 4 p.m. were seen being led by people holding a large banner that said “No US war on Venezuela,” video showed.
Another large banner that read in part “ICE MUST GO NOW!” with an image of Renee Nicole Macklin Good, the 37-year-old mother of three who was shot and killed by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Minneapolis on Wednesday…
