CHICAGO — A 35-year-old man died after being shot in the back late Saturday night on the city’s Far South Side, according to Chicago police.
Police say the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of East 85th Place, in Avalon Park. The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police offered no other details and say nobody is in custody. Area detectives are investigating…
