The Chicago-area surgeon accused of murdering his ex-wife and her husband in Ohio faced a malpractice accusation just months before the killings.

Michael McKee, 39, faces two counts of aggravated murder with premeditation in the deaths of Monique and Spencer Tepe. The Tepes were found in their Ohio home on Dec. 30 from gunshot wounds. Two young children in the home were left unharmed.
