Students at 2 suburban high schools walk out of classes to protest ICE

Students at two high schools in Chicago’s suburbs walked out of classes on Tuesday afternoon to protest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Dozens of students at Oak Park and River Forest High School walked out at 2 p.m. as part of a demonstration led by the school’s Garden Club. Organizers said the Trump administration’s immigration policies are terrorizing the community.
