ICE agent charged with misdemeanor after altercation with activist in Illinois

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer is facing a misdemeanor charge after an alleged altercation with an activist in Illinois last month, according to local police.

Brookfield Police Department Chief Michael Kuruvilla said in a statement that officers responded to a gas station on Dec. 27 to investigate an alleged battery.
