Oak Park police arrested two men on separate aggravated assault charges over the weekend.
Police arrested a 33-year-old Chicago man on charges including aggravated assault on a peace officer shortly after 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 30 in connection with a reported altercation at the Jewel store in the 400 block of Madison Street, according to police. The man was also charged with criminal damage to property and criminal damage to government property, according to police.
Police also arrested a 70-year-old Oak Park man on aggravated assault charges in connection with a reported attack in the 200 block of South Oak Park Avenue against another Oak Park resident, according to police. He was arrested shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, according to police…
