a Cook County man has been sentenced to a long prison term in Livingston County. Carlos Mims, 46, of Chicago pled guilty to Manufacturing and Delivering between 1 and 15 grams of cocaine, a class one felony and was sentenced to 22 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
As part of the plea agreement, Mims was given credit for serving over 600 days in the Livingston County Jail and must serve half of the prison term. Prosecutors say Mims sold the cocaine somewhere in the Livingston County area…
