AUSTIN — When he chooses to pray, Lavonte Harvey usually does so by singing.
But while getting ready for his job as a postal carrier one recent day, Harvey chose the spoken form of prayer, asking God to “let me know who I’m supposed to be and where I’m supposed to go.”
