Complicated order! Prosecutors say a fried chicken restaurant drive-thru worker opened fire on a customer’s car because they wanted to split the check after he had already rung up the purchase.

Tramain Beeks, 21, is accused of firing a shot at a vehicle leaving the Popeyes at 7430 South Stony Island Avenue in South Shore after an argument over how four customers would pay for their order.

According to prosecutors, Beeks was working the drive-thru around 9:07 p.m. on August 5 when the group pulled up and placed an order. The customers asked to pay separately, but Beeks rang the purchase on a single ticket instead, and an argument ensued at the drive-thru window, according to the allegations…
