Police responded to a Chicago elementary school Tuesday after a fight broke out during recess, the school’s principal said in a letter.
A letter addressing the incident was sent to parents and guardians of Josephine C. Locke Elementary School, located at 2828 North Oak Park Avenue in Chicago’s Montclare neighborhood.
“Safety is always my top priority, which is why I am writing to notify you of a situation that occurred at our school,” Principal John Fitzpatrick said in the letter. “Earlier today, during recess, there was a physical altercation involving members of our school community.”…
