Bridgeview police rescue hostages early Sunday morning in domestic squabble

Bridgeview, IL – The Bridgeview Police were assisted by SWAT Officers late Saturday night (March 7) in response to a report of an armed gunman in a domestic hostage situation and the “aggravated discharge” of a weapon.

The report involved a domestic argument between the eldest son, Mustafa Farraj, 20, who held his mother and a 13-year-old son with autism at gunpoint.

The incident was reported to police at around 11 PM Saturday evening by a 17-year-old family member who was apparently confronted by the suspect with the weapon that was later identified as an “Air Pistol/Rifle.”…
