Two south suburban high school students were arrested Thursday after a weapon was found inside their school’s gym, authorities said.
Around 11:20 a.m., administrators at Thornridge High School, located at 15000 Cottage Grove Avenue in Dolton, were notified that a possible weapon magazine had been seen in the gym area, according to a statement from Thornton Township High School District 205. The School Resource Officer immediately contacted the Dolton Police Department, the district said.
