CHICAGO — A Chicago man is facing a felony charge after authorities say he shot and injured another man during a fight on the city’s Southwest Side over the weekend.
According to Chicago police, 63-year-old Dennis White has been charged with one count of aggravated battery with the discharge of a firearm.
The charge stems from an incident officers say unfolded just after midnight on Sunday, March 22, in the 4500 block of South Wood Street, in the Back of the Yards.
Officers said an investigation indicates that White got into an argument with a 42-year-old man in the area, but during the argument, White allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the other man in the chest…
