OAK PARK, Ill. (WGN) – West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park announced this week it will be closing temporarily and putting most of its workers on leave due to a medical billing issue.
The hospital has served as a safety net hospital for low income residents and took in patients and employees when its sister hospital Weiss Memorial closed last summer.
